[threecol_two]A Fresh Approach and New Look – The Waterlogic WL250 Tower brings a unique, fresh approach, and a new look, to point-of-use systems in the marketplace. Unlike a bottled water cooler, incoming tap water is treated as it’s needed, so the water is always fresh and great tasting. The Waterlogic WL250 Tower has a cooling capacity that surpasses that of the ordinary bottled water cooler, so you are sure to get a cold, refreshing serving of drinking water every time. ITS™ Controls Bacteria – The Waterlogic WL250 Tower is also equipped with ITS™ (In-Tank Sanitization). This feature utilizes ultraviolet light as an effective method to prevent the potential for biofilm (slime) buildup in the storage tank after chlorine has been reduced through carbon filtration. Ultraviolet technology also helps reduce any heterotrophic bacteria that may occur in drinking water. This reduces the need for preventative maintenance and improves drinking water quality. The Waterlogic WL250 Tower treatment process includes Sediment Filtration (12-2000) reducing particles as small as 5 microns. Micron Filtration (12-2001) traps contaminants as small as 1 micron and reduces chlorine & organic contaminants.

[tab title=”Filtration”]The Waterlogic WL250 Tower uses 3-stage filtration to treat drinking water. First, a 5-micron Sediment filter traps sediment and solid particle matter. Then, a 1-micron Carbon Block filter reduces contaminants as small as 1-micron. Next, a Granular Activated Carbon filter reduces chlorine and polishes taste. Tested & Proven to Perform – The 1-micron filter used in the Waterlogic WL250 Tower has been tested and certified by WQA according to NSF/ANSI Standard 53: Drinking Water Treatment Units – Health Effects for the reduction of at least 90% of lead and 99.99% of cysts. The 1-micron and Granular Activated Carbon filters have also been tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 42: Aesthetic Effects for the improvement of taste and odor and aesthetic chlorine reduction. The Waterlogic WL250 Tower has been tested and certified by WQA according to NSF/ANSI Standard 61: Drinking Water System Components – health Effects.[/tab]
[tab title=”BioCote”]BioCote® is incorporated into Leslie WaterWorks® innowave® water treatment systems during the manufacturing process, creating a concentration of silver ions on the product’s surface. When microbes come into contact with a BioCote® protected surface, the silver binds with the microbes and causes the enzymes to break down. They cannot produce energy to multiply and growth is inhibited. This built-in anti-microbial protection reduces levels of microbes such as odour causing or staining bacteria, mold and fungi by up to 99.9% over a 24-hour period. BioCote® antimicrobial technology is also ideal for personal care products, helping to prevent odor-causing bacteria and improve hygiene..[/tab]
[tab title=”UV Technology”]
ITS™ (In-Tank Sanitization) UV Technology is at the heart of the Waterlogic WL250 Tower treatment process. Ultraviolet Light reduces heterotrophic bacteria and is a valuable alternative to chlorine filters found in other machines. The Waterlogic WL250 Tower is equipped with ITS™ (In-Tank Sanitization). [tab title=”Drink only Certified”]Water is the most consumed food & beverage product. Yet it is the least certified. The meat, seafood, dairy and many of the grocery products we consume are subject to strict food safety guidelines, inspection and standards. Even though the same rigorous controls should be expected of water, a surprising number of under certified, low quality water coolers make it into the market. A POU water dispenser is not just a glorified water chiller. It should purify your water at the POU (Point of Use) – this requires sophisticated technology and in depth knowledge of your incoming water. Water borne diseases are normally not evident to the eye. Effects can be long term from lead, chlorine, etc. Each year there were many cases of illnesses caused by drinking contaminated water. Most are minor and go unreported. Low grade POU (not adequately certified) can even worsen the quality of tap water (sitting in cold tanks without UV purification etc.) The only way to guarantee quality water is to filter and purify at the “Point of Use” (i.e. At the point at which it is dispensed) by using an independently certified, quality POU dispenser.[/tab] [/tabs]
