2008 IBWA AWARD WINNERS
2008 IBWA AWARD WINNERS
After a hiatus in 2007, IBWA’s awards program made a triumphant return during the Associations 50th Anniversary Convention and Trade Show on October 21, 2008. During the General Session, IBWA once again took time to honor a few of the individuals and companies that contribute to the continued success of the bottled water industry. It was also during the awards ceremony that the IBWA proudly announced the winners of its most recently developed award – the Environmental Sustainability Award.
Route Salesperson of the Year: Fighters on the Front Lines
As ambassadors of the bottled water industry, route salespeople have access to what other business strategists dream of: client homes and offices. It is through their daily and personal contact with customers that route salespeople are best able to contribute to their companies’ success and educate customers about bottled water issues.
Joey Bogus, The Roberts Group
Earning the title of 2008 Route Salesperson of the Year in the small company category was Joey Bogus from The Roberts Group, located in Huntsville, Alabama. Known for his dedication, determination, and commitment, Joey’s sales skills are only surpassed by his pleasant, witty, and easy personality. Driving 45 miles a day and averaging 70 sales deliveries a day, Joey gives exceptional customer services to his customers – often taking the time to make sure his customer’s outside pets always have plenty of water in their bowls. If a bottled water company is only as good as its front line route salesperson, the The Roberts Group must be in good shape!
